Slovak national hockey team
I was invited to the symbol design contest of Slovak Hockey representation. The foundation and the idea for the concept was the national Slovak anthem – “There is lightning over the Tatras, Thunders lightly sound… ”
The “thunder lightings” from the national anthem encourages the Slovak people and the land to rouse.  In this case, the symbol of thunder or flash represents the action, speed, energy and agility of the Slovak hockey team. At the same time, the flash symbol resembles letter “S” for Slovakia. The custom lettering was designed to fit the overall design.
